Adjunct Associate Professor Todd Hutchison
is a police qualified investigator and security specialist, and a forensic practitioner who provides video and audio digital forensic expertise, including conducting crime re-enactments. 

He is a adjunct Associate Professor in engineering and science at Curtin University and business and law at Edith Cowan University.

Dr Hutchison has master degrees in both information systems and technology management, and completed the first bachelor degree in legal project management worldwide. He is qualified in engineering in both television and radio broadcasting, as well as having qualifications in camera operations, audio operations, photography and music. He is a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).

His background includes working in commercial television, the film industry, leading 5 photographic studios, film processing and establishing the Film My Video production house, as well as installing and operating satellite earth stations, territorial microwave and cellular towers.    He was also involved in covert surveillance, including crime investigations for television programs like ‘A Current Affair’.

Dr Hutchison has worked with police, military, corrective services, lawyers, and investigators, and is Commercial Advisor and legal clerk at law firm Balfour Meagher and the global Chairman of the International Institute of Legal Project Management. 

He is the Principal of UltraTech Investigation Services that works with Forensics Australia as an associate to support client multimedia requirements.  

He completed his doctorate degree in forensics and legal project management.
